Late night shopping in Bruton on Wednesday 8th December and Castle Cary has a Victorian Christmas Evening and late night shopping on Thursday 9th December. Chard switches on the lights at 6.30 p.m. on 26th November and FC will be there! Somerton has a Christmas Craft Fayre on Saturday 20th November in the Parish Rooms and a Christmas Fun morning on Saturday 11th December. Yeovil gets switched on Thursday 25th November at 6.30 p.m. with late night shopping every Thursday until Christmas. And the SomerZest Christmas Fair starts the festive month in style at Yeovil's Octagon, Friday and Saturday 3rd and 4th December. Courthouse Gallery at Christmas
The Guild of Crafts winter exhibition Reflections of Nature begins 13th November. Textiles, jewellery, ceramics, metalwork and more give local artists the chance to champion nature in perfect Christmas gifts! The Gallery is open six days a week AND in December on Sundays 5th, 12th and 19th. The event is aimed at raising the awareness of hospitality and retail businesses about the fantastic products they can buy locally - making their customers happy and cutting food miles. Invitations will be sent to a large number of these businesses and the general public will also be able to walk in off the street to see the show. Business advice on marketing, IT skills and developing supply chains will be available on the day.
